Oh No they couldn't???

I DO NOT pay my exhorbitant Council Tax charges so that they can waste it buying houses .

I pay my taxes so that they will empty the dustbins and keep the street lights on.
For NO other reason.

I am intrigued to know why this is a bad thing??

Owning a house is a privelege and not a 'right'.

If you can't afford it then don't commit yourself.

It's a hard life but there is no easy way through it??

Very frequently when I venture out in my car I find that the radio output is hijacked by one of the local pirate radio stations, presumably because they are able to use the traffic information facility.
Easily corrected by pressing the 'TP' button but that's not the point??

It is almost always, well always really, a station that plays nothing but rap (crap) music that I wouldn't want to listen to if you paid me lots of money.

Why, then, are the authorities not doing something about this abuse of the airways rather than descending on easy targets like pensioners who have forgotten to pay their TV license???

This really pisses me off!!!!

OK. I'm back on my favourite hobby horse now but it keeps on happening.

These people go voluntarily to their sports. They work very hard indeed to get as good as they are but it is not compulsory.
They do it because they want to.
The medal winners will do extremely well in the future through sponsorship etc.
That is reward enough??

The honours system is a national disgrace.

The only people who deserve honours are those who do good things for their communities with never a thought of a reward of any kind.

Rebecca Adlington is a good swimmer.

I am grateful that it will be the last day that I have to suffer Adrian Childs presenting it in the mornings.

I have absolutely no idea how this man got the job. He is hopeless and truly awful.
Worse still he also gets to present a nightly BBC1 programme called "The One Show"
He is just as bad on that.

I think that he has got to be related to one of the BBC governors. If not I would be very grateful to know how he managed to get past the interview stage as a TV presenter.

He has single handedly totally spoilt the Olympics for me.

Get rid of him BBC
