MP’s who lose seats do so because their constituents think they are not good enough!!!

Can somebody please explain to me why they deserve any payment???

I would really like to hear from people who have lost their job through incompetence and then receive a large payment through the post??

Backing Locog’s stance, Olympics Minister Hugh Robertson said demands for immediate transparency over London 2012 ticket sales were “unreasonable”.

He said there would be no pressure from the government on Locog to release details of that allocation before the ticketing process was complete.

“This is the middle of a very big, complicated ticketing operation, he said.

“I want to make sure… that that operation is completed successfully before we get onto the whole transparency of where it’s gone.

“There is a time for that, but it is not now.”

Pardon me Mr Robertson but the time is definitely NOW!!!
Transparency after the event is surely pointless as it will not change anything??

The Olympic Games are a collossal waste of taxpayers money and serve only to allow the ‘great and the good’ to mix with each other??
They are all a waste of oxygen!!

The same story starts with the news that people might be charged to go onto public land to watch the cycle race should they so wish.
I have no interest in the Olympics or cycling but I would be very tempted to turn up and defy their stupid rules:))
It would be good if a movement were set up to protest this nonsense.

What a complete pratt this man is???

I am getting really fed up with hearing so much coverage on BBC news programmes about the caucus votes in America for the nominees for the Presidential election in November.

OK, the result may be important to us in a way but the run up to it is surely not the most important thing going on in the world at the moment???
People in the UK, with the exception of a few thousand USA citizens living here, can have no influence on the result so why keep telling us about it??

A one line news item telling us who has won the latest vote would surely be enough. Endless deep discussions are stupid.
I suppose the BBC are keen on it because it gives lots of journalists an excuse to fly over, at licensepayers expense, and enjoy the American lifestyle.

Time to rein it all back in my opinion!!
